We continue here with all new requests and correction, please.
Homer,
here is the Twin Otter C6-BDA including all of its history: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/C6-BDA/846815
The postcard with the Laker Airways A300 has the Airbus test reg F-WZEL (not F-MZFL), I looked that postcard up on eBay. The aircraft later became G-BIMB. As we do not record the pre-delivery test reg, you will not find F-WZEL in the database. G-BIMB can be found here: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/G-BIMB/399201
For the NFD ATR 42-300, there was no original delivered plane bearing that ATR test reg F-WWEO. There was one aircraft coming close with F-WWED which is former D-BHHH (now flying as G-ISLH with Blue Islands). D-BHHH can be found here: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/D-BHHH/420308
Shorts 360 VH-MVW had its first operator Murray Valley Airlines added, thanks: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/VH-MVW/694242

HL7471 was taken over by Korean Air Lines from Flying Tiger while it was originally ordered by World Airways. There comes the Boeing customer code -73 from as Korean Air Lines did not order that aircraft. So the designation 273C is correct as it is on the database: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/HL7471/525770 2B5 would only be correct if the plane was originally ordered by Korean
Fokker F-27 D-BOBY has been corrected: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/D-BOBY/815488
Sikorsky S-61N G-AYOM has been added: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/G-AYOM/846841

Hi Homer,
got one more: G-BUSB had as Airbus test reg F-WWDD, so F-WWDA must be msn 002 which later went on to Air France.

Hi Dennis, First, thanks for all the info and corrections on items submitted recently. Looks like we're keeping you busy! And now I have to correct my own little database.
Got an oldie for you from Mexico. XA-PII was a Boeing 367 (KC-97G military designation) Stratofreighter registered to Aeropacifico, photographed at Mazatlan (MZT) 16/6/89, according to a German airliners magazine.
But please check if "367" is correct. I've seen pictures of many of those planes, but always B-377.
Cheers 'n' beers, Homer
Hi again...
The only BAC-111 shown here for Bahamasair is VP-BDI. I have an IAWP Historical Aircraft Postcard (#287) showing a BAC-111 with registration no. C6-BDJ. IAWP cards are useless for detail so I have no way of knowing if it's the same plane.

C6-BDJ is another BAC 1-11 of Bahamasair. I have added that to the database now with its full history to be found here: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/C6-BDJ/846977
XA-PII is a Boeing 377 Stratocruiser. Must be a typing error in the mag...

Hi Dennis,
First, thanks for further info above. Now here's a note for you...
N59AW (B757-23A) is listed here as belonging to Ansett, then being given a new number when it was sold to ATA (American Trans Air). It is shown OTT right in full ATA livery -- colourful livery featuring a cartoonish sun and palm tree on the fin -- in the 1996 Airliners calendar, still with the N59AW registration number.
Cheers Homer
PS - Learned "OTT" from a recent answer to another member's question!
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for previous updates - here's another just in case you were thinking of taking some rest:

Hi everybody,
The Jan-Feb 1996 issue of Airliners magazine had an excellent article: The Aircraft History of South African Airways. Pictured are the following planes not listed here:
Junkers Ju-52/53M ZS-AFA ÈJan van Riebeeck", "now part of the South African Airways Historic Flight". (Wonder if this Flight still exists or did it disappear with so much else after majority rule.)
Lockheed Model 18 Lodestar ZS-ASN, photographed at Lanseria (HLA) 29/5/79 en route to the South African Airways Museum. (Same comment as above. Does anyone know?)
C-47/DC-3 ZS-DJB, seen in March 1969, location not mentioned.

Hi all...
I have some information on Skyways Coach Air, which operated a service between LYM (Lympne, Kent, UK) and BVA (Beauvais, France) in the 1960s, using DC3s and HS748s. If you wanted to go from London to Paris (or vice versa) on the cheap, Skyways took you by coach (= bus) to Lympne, then flew you across the Channel, and put you back on the bus to go from Beauvais to Paris. I did this as a poor (= impecunious) student in July-August 1965.
Here are some of the aircraft operated on the route: G-ARMV HS748-101 (1536); G-ARMX HS748-101; G-AMWX C47B/DC3; G-AGYZ C47B/DC3
Sorry I don't have the msn for the last three but hope someone can fill in the blanks.
Homer
Fokker 100 F-OGQA is shown here as belonging to "Air Litt-Hamburg Airlines". It was photographed at HAM 19/5/90 with Hamburg Airlines titles only, no mention of "Air Litt" which I assume refers to Air Littoral. The plane is described as ex-KLM PH-KLH.
Post (re G-AVZZ) deleted. I must learn to search more carefully and patiently! Homer

Hi everyone,
D-AJET double entry has been deleted. I cannot delete the double entry of D-AFUN as it has already a sighting linked to it.
Dougie, you saw that aircraft. Could you delete your sighting and re-enter D-AFUN via this link, please https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/D-AFUN/826028 ?
Then the double entry can be deleted.

finally the Catalina TF-ISJ: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/TF-ISJ/847164?seo=Consolidated%20PBY-5A%20Catalina_Flugfelag%20Islands
Cheers,
Dennis
Hi Dennis and thanks for the further info. Further inspection of the Catalina postcard reveals the Flugfelag title, although the descriptive copy on the back of the card does read Icelandair.
More Icelandair stuff to check out...
TF-FLM and TF-FLO were F27-200s photographed with Flugleidir titles and Icelandair logo on fin.
A DC10-30F was photographed (reg. no. can't be seen) bearing "Icelandic" and "Islandsair" (?) titles and Icelandair logo on fin.
Those three are shown on Solarfilma airliner postcards. I have listed the three old ones referenced yesterday on eBay if anyone wants them. (Am I allowed to say that?!)
TF-FIE, B727-108C is on your list. It was seen at Glasgow 12/8/68 with additional Flugfelag Islands titles on the fin, and a logo which appears to be a pegasus, plus thin red strips above and below the main navy blue cheatline. Perhaps this is a hybrid livery of some sort?
TF-FII is a B757-208ER photographed at Luxembourg 23/6/90.
These two sightings are from an aviation magazine.
Cheers, Homer

Hi Dennis (et al) Time for a couple of additions & corrections from closer to home (my home, that is!)
In addition to the owners/operators shown for C-GDPA, please add "Canadian North", which is apparently still in business. This plane has been photographed in an attractive white and blue livery with a polar bear + sun logo, showing the flags of Canada and the northern Canadian territory of Nunavut. See http://www.canadiannorth.com/ It also operates C-GFPW, as already noted here.
Listings for C-GRNV and others show ownership by "Jazz Air". There was never any such airline as Jazz Air. "Jazz" was a cut-rate brand of Air Canada, and the titles that appear on its planes read "Air Canada Jazz", with the "Air Canada" in the standard company font, but small letters, above the "Jazz" in a script font.
Same comment applies to "Zip Air", shown here for C-GWPW and others. This Air Canada brand was just known as "Zip" (only), with website 4321zip.com. "Air Canada" titles were not used. Zip operated in western Canada from mid-1992 to 1994.
Best regards, Homer
Hi Homer,
added TF-FLM and TF-FLO
TF-FLM: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/TF-FLM/847184
TF-FLO: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/TF-FLO/847186
The DC-10 was N1035F (https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/N1035F/651722), which was leased in early 1979. But after the terrible American Airlines desaster in May 1979 in Chicago the whole fleet of DC-10s was grounded and the aircraft was useless because it had to be stored. Was leased out to Garuda later and then returned...
TF-FIE is in the database but I do not know that hybrid background...

Dennis

Hi Dennis,
N74855 of Roadway Global Air is described here as a CV240. However, I have seen two pix of this plane which identify it as a CV600. I'm not an expert on Convairs (or anything else) and am wondering if a CV240 could also be described as a CV600. If not, how do you tell them apart?
Cheers, Homer

C-GGXS, a DHC7-102 (msn 64) was operated in mid-1992 by City Express, seen by me 21/6/92 at YHM. Photo (much better than mine!) may be seen here: http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/middle/3/0/8/1926803.jpg

Hi Dennis,
Please add United States Air Force 40085 Learjet C-21 A C/N 35A-531
Thanks as always,
Matt
Contact Airways operated a DC3, C-GZOF, shown in an undated photo on an airliner postcard with no other info.
Indeed, information about Contact Airways itself seems pretty hard to come by. Looks Canadian, and probably defunct ???
Homer
Hi
Can you, please, add
YR-BMG Boeing 737-86N(WL) Blue Air
Many thanks

Hi all...
Last owner of C-FIZD (DHC6-300 - msn 461) was Innu Mikun, not Innu Likun, per photo on Aviation Postcard published 2003.
Homer
Hi again...
C-GLAB is identified here as a "U-1A-", a designation I don't recognize. A photo on an airliner postcard is captioned DHC3, with c/n 348 which matches what's shown here. Is U-1A- a military designation of the same aircraft? The photo referred to shows C-GLAB in Wilderness Air livery at YVG (Vermilion, Alberta) in August 2000.
Homer
Hello Homer, yes the U-1 was the US Armed Forces designation for the DHC-3 Otter. http://www.uswarplanes.net/ Go to minor types Post-WW2 Cheers, Jonathan

Hi all...
DHC6-300 (c/n 413) TF-JMC was photographed July 2000 at Akureyri, Iceland in livery of Flugfélag Islands. (BUCHair postcard)
Homer
Hi again...
DHC8-315 (c/n 564) PH-DMP was operated probably sometime in 2001 by Air Nostrum (for Iberia Regional), photographed in standard Iberian livery (red and yellow cheatlines) with "Communitat Valenciana" titles on an undated aviation postcard, published in 2002. History apparently the same as that of sister ship PH-DMM (c/n 563).
Homer
Still looking at DHC8s...
DHC8-402 G-JEDL (4067) is shown here as operated by "Flybe". The proper name of the airline is British European and two sister ships are listed here under that name. They had titles showing their website URL: www.flybe.com.

D-CIFA C550 shows 3 times, none with a c/n
https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/D-CIFA/580967 But G-INFO shows straight from G-BJIR to G-DWJM with c/n 550-0296. It doesn't appear as D-CIFA in Planebase
This one https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/D-CIFA/578515 as 550-0074

Hi Homer,
PH-DMM has been updated: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/PH-DMM/661797
as well as PH-DMP: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/PH-DMP/661802
Regarding Flybe the database is correct. Flybe was renamed from British European (that´s what the be in Flybe stands for) on 18.07.2002 after the delivery of the first Q400 aircraft. Most aircraft were delivered after renaming the airline and thus are not in British European history.
Cheers,
Dennis

Greetings...
List of Air Canada Vanguards shows a series skipping from CF-TKK to CF-TKM. A Vanguard 952(?) is shown on an airline postcard offered a couple of times on eBay (also in my collection) with reg. no. CF-TKL. Fleet number is 912. No info on the card except "An Air Canada plane prepares for takeoff at a Canadian Airport". DUH!
Homer
Wow! Up to 100 again!
HS748-2A/272 C-GGOO was operated by Austin Airways before going to Air Creebec in 1991. Seen and photographed by me in the full yellow-red-black Austin livery at YYZ c. 1989. (Wish I'd dated the picture!)
Thinking about it... Austin Airways was an Air Canada connector as early as 1987 -- C-GOUT photographed at MSP in that year in red-and-white AC livery -- so my sighting is likely mid-80s.
Homer
Hi Dennis,
Since thread #16 hasn't appeared yet, let me add this before I forget...
