New Aircraft

Hi, quick question. How often is your database updated please? 4K-A188, a Gulfstream G650 that has been around for at least 7 years, does not appear on your database. It was pictured at Zurich in January 2017. I am new to looking at this site having been a long time subscriber to the Aviation Databases site which has recently closed down. I am therefore looking for a replacement.  Ringway

the Databases are updated daily by a few volunteers, there is also a request topic on the forums for Civil updates and Military updates which are usually seen and updated within a week ( I do military updates)

Obviously the amount of aircraft out there plus the histories of all those frames is a substantial amount and will be an ongoing update forever , but you can request any to be added you wish

I was part of the editorial team on AvDB many years ago

there are a few differences between AvDB and Planlogger but I am happy with the database after looking at others too

regards Paul

PS

is it actually 4K-A188 or 4K-AI88 (i not 1) as some sites (flightradar24 for example) has it as I88 not 188

there is a database entry on her for AI88

Hi Celtic,

Welcome to the site! The database is updated regularly by our volunteers, but as you can imagine a few records will always slip through here and there. If you spot one, please post it in the relevant thread in the forums, and we'll update it as soon as we can.
