The aircraft was rebuilt to airworthy standard and registered ZS-WLP on the 8th of March 1990 and named "Spook".

Many of my sightings have been deleted by someone without my knoledge ,so the entry is gone and my log jumps to the next or last new entry into the database. Still in my sightings it stays as it was and by clicking it I'll find out where it jumped falsely. So it must be possible to delete logged entries.

thanks for the corrections
the Japanese fleets have some extra doubles which appear to have been imported script originally so good catch
the AdlA MRTT fleet is a minefield with many different c/ns quoted on various sites ,e.g I had two 2008s and two 2011 c/ns , I may have to revisit the whole fleet and find a definitive source to clarify them as some were defintiely created incorrect

The above aircraft is listed on the Swedish Civil Aircraft Register as being built in 1946 and the c/n has also come from the same source and definitely looks different to the c/n’s of other J3C or Piper Cub’s so not sure if it is accurate especially as I can find no earlier history prior to it arriving on the Swedish register. I’m guessing with a construction year of 1946 there is going to be a military history somewhere in the background, probably starting with the USAAF and moving onto one of the European post war air forces so I’m hoping you might be able to find some earlier history.

JSTARS Flies Its Last Operational Mission Ahead of November Retirement Oct. 2, 2023 | By Greg Hadley
A crew of Airmen at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, flew the final operational sortie of the E-8C JSTARS aircraft on Sept. 21, paving the way for the last of the fleet to be retired early next month.

Couple of corrections please,
There might have been a slight error in one of the entries from my last list. The aircraft below is listed as Ukrainian Air Force rather than Lithuanian. I’m sure Ukraine could do with all the support in terms of aircraft and helicopter it can get but sadly listing it on the DB as being theirs doesn’t make it so.

as you can see it could have many 'correct' c/ns so I have added the renumber as a comment and in brackets to the original HABL (Hawker Blackpool BTW)

Replying to Erdni's post above regarding the Boeing 707. The Stratoliner was the Boeing 307 piston-engined airliner, not the Boeing 707. A Pan American Boeing 307 Stratoliner (NC19903) is displayed at the National Air and Space Museum, Udvar-Hazy Center, Dulles International Airport, Chantilly, Virginia.

The Boeing C-137 Stratoliner is a retired VIP transport aircraft derived from the Boeing 707 jet airliner used by the United States Air Force.
a quick google search confirms this also from various sources including the Air Force Test Centre
