the CN235/C-144 issue is a bit of a minefield, all N regs for the 6 USAF are still valid - special operations I guess , C-176 is also quoted for 96-6043 so am unsure how to proceed as It looks as though they may swap identities

Harbin 3608 is actually 3-608

F-6 20-40 was actually marked 20 on one side and 40 on the other at one time (is it still the case or does it show 20-40 complete - I did have it in the database as 40-20 , have now amended to 40-20 (20-40)

I did reply to your request and also had a new thread on the forum about this (back in Nov)

62-HG and 64-HG are squadron codes and not registrations - and were put on the db before I took over the Mil side , I do not add sqn codes and as such have removed the 62-HG completely , any sightings should be logged under the serial 199

sqn codes change too frequently and often with little or no warning so will not be included

hi Erdni my D-BAKO was from my pre 1992 sightings and I dont have the log books from them as they were lost in a divorce , it may well have been WDL but it was entered against the entry already in the database for the time period estimated for my sighting so may well be wrong, UNK is my code for unknown - quite a few of my old underlining books were written without sighting date and place and without the corresponding handwritten logbooks its the closest i can get

Hi Paul,

So, I do confirm that the number on the tail is 07534 (I have the pic, let me know if you want it) BUT I agree with you that all DB (Scramble and Stanakshoot which are very trustable) are saying 5926.

In my opinion 5926 is the correct number but plane is painted under 07534.

I think you forgot to add 9351 // Grumman G-23 // cn: 101 // US Navy // Preserved

I was more trying to work out the aircraft type of 07534 as you had it as N2S-3 (Stearman) but other places have it as OS2U-3 (Kingfisher)

V190 is actually listed a V-191 (V-190) as the - was included on the CG roster, I can change it to remove the dash if you prefer?

51849 is the complete aircraft, the cutaway frame has never been fully identified and was misidentified as 51849 a few years ago and has been misquoted ever since, I have been unable to find any definite ID for the cutaway despite many people asking over the years on different forums, I guess the only people to really know would be the museum staff so I amy drop them an email to see if I can get a reply

I can add the cutaway as (WA) for now (brackets to get around the 2 character limit) so you can at least log it until we may find an answer?

Thanks for V-191, it's now updated. For WA, not sure if the museum will answer you :(

Could be nice to create it, even if later you update it, but then, all planes inside the museum are registered/created and case "close". I still have some "exterior" planes to add, stored aircrafts exhibited during the airshow but some are unmarked (like a F 14 and a Mig 29).

Please do the easiest way for you for WA.
