RAF St Mawgan, EGDG, now Newquay airport but with a different ICAO code but I would like to list my sighting as per what it was at the time if possible.

Hatfield IATA HTF, this was using the ICAO of EGTH but this has be re allocated to Old Warden now so I can't log sighting using EGTH hence HTF needs to be added.

the code XMU - Non-airport Museum seems to cause a problem. When you add a sighting with this code, the map is no longer displayed. One example is RAF Phantom FG.1 XV591. Maybe you can check this?

Hi Gavin,

Just resurrecting this one again, not sure if you have added the others as the last post does refer to previous request not having been added. Another airfield to add please. It lets me enter the code for the sighting but when I click on the code after the sighting has been registered it doesn't bring up a location name.

EGFI Weston Super Mare airfield

Opened as Weston Airport in 1936 Not to be confused with Weston Airport in Ireland, ICAO EIWT). To RAF control in 1940 before reverting back to civil use in 1945. Now closed down and much of the site sold off but The Helicopter Museum is on part of the old airfield and helicopter flight do still arrive and depart occationally.

RBK is French Valley Airport (IATA: RBK, FAA LID: F70) is a county-owned public-use airport in southwestern Riverside County, California, located on Highway 79 near the cities of Murrieta and Temecula. Only KF70 is known to DB.

There is still a lot of requests from 08 december 2020 onwards unanswered.or was it 2019?

Hi Gavin,

Another airfield which is not recognised on the DB is the old RAF Gatow (GWW). The ICAO code was EDBG but it looks like that has been reallocated.

Hopefully now you have managed to solve some of the issues with the site you might be able to to update some of the airfields on this list as I think there are some previous posts where the request hasn't yet been actioned.

You are right, something is wrong with Gatow but at least you can work on it in the DB:

i flew recently to KLCK / LCK which is COLUMBUS Rickenbacher Int'l Airport. It's a military base together with Civilian traffic mainly Cargo Hub for Emirates, FEDEX, Cargolux..... It's located south of Columbus / Ohio with 2 RWYs.

I have another airport for you to add please, EPKC Kraków-Rakowice-Czyżyny Airport. It is listed as being disused however the Polish Air Musuem is based here and some flying does still go on. There are helicopter movements here and light aircraft can operate from what remains of the runway. As recently as 13/05/2022 AN-2 SP-MLP was taking off and landing here.

Not sure if anyone is still updating airport details, but I see PKX / ZBAD Daxing is not in the database, it opened in 2019.

Also the new airport in Istanbul inherited the IATA code IST from the Ataturk airport in April 2019. The new airport, as yet unnamed, IST / LTFM needs adding, and Ataturk (LTBA) should be updated (now ISL / LTBA).
