| Comments | w/o 10.02.68 The a/c was on finals to Khe Sanh AB, Vietnam, on a re-supply mission of fuel bladders & flame throwers from Da Nang AP, when it was hit by .50 calibre gunfire from the ground. Engine 3 caught fire, a fuel bladder was hit & ruptured and the fuel caught fire. Trailing fire, the pilot managed to land at Khe Sanh.
