Can anyone assist me in obtaining a full log of aircraft sighted at Heathrow on 1 April 1972? I have a large number of aircraft seen there in '72 and quite a few have been identified as being there on that date.

I note a couple of members especially 'nottinghamlad' have entries for that day so wondered if they could help.

Steve, When I first started spotting, in April 1972, I only recorded where I had seen an aircraft, but not a date! I can only narrow the sightings down to between 01/04/1972 and when the next CAM was released, on 01/01/1973. As I had to enter something, I chose said date. Sorry to disappoint you. As I became older and wiser, I did use actual dates. Good luck, Nottinghamlad

Thanks for that info. Worth a try anyway. I'm pretty sure I was there on Easter Monday 1972 on a coach trip that a local firm from Leeds did. This was the 3 April and there are a few regs on my list that do tie up with some movements on that day. Cheers.
