The July-August 1995 issue of Airliners magazine has an article on "Canadair's Commercial Aircraft Programs" -- 2nd of two parts -- which has a pic and this additional info: "Napier Eland-powered Canadair 540 conversion, seen here at Montréal Dorval airport in Québecair colours. It was loaned to Québecair and begain service on Aug. 24, 1960 for use on a 1600 mile-a-day route, five days a week, from Montréal to Québec City, Rimouski, Sept-Îles, Wabush and Knob lake. It was later re-engined with Allison T56 turboprops and ussed by North Central Airlines as N969N.
