MC-21

Russia yesterday unveiled the first MC-21-300 - a twin engine aircraft designed to take on the A320 and 737. The aircraft will be available in a couple of variants, and will offer capacity for 165 to 211 passengers.

So far they have received orders for 175 aircraft, with entry into service expected to be 2018.

Looks like a great aircraft, can it compete with the A320 and 737 though, especially outside of Russia?
