Hi Dennis
According to FAA Registry N888RK c/n 525C-0183 is a Cessna 525C Citationjet 1V.
Your records state N888RK no c/n as a Cessna 525B. Has the aircraft been updated to a C . Or do records need altering

Hi Dennis,
Some more really old aircraft! These were spotted in 1968. I was a keen spotter in the late 60s and early 70s. Came back to the hobby on retirement. I entered my early spotting logs up to 1972, you will be relieved to know that I lost my logs for 73,74 and 75!
Thanks for all the hard work I put you through, it is appreciated.

Hi Dennis
Could G-KRBN EMB 505 Phenom 300 c/n 505-00358 Flairjet Ltd be added
Ron
Hi Dennis
Would it be possible to please tidy up the Buran space shuttles entered.
I know there are at least three in the database but all listed as different types - OK-TBA is listed as "Buran", CCCP-3501002 is listed as "Buran Space Shuttle" and a third is listed with no registration as "Buran OK-M".
Suggest all be classified as just "Buran".
The one listed as "display at Gorky Park", msn 1M-0.01, was registered OK-M and was relocated to Moscow Economic Achievements Exhibition in July 14.
The one registered OK-TVA is msn 5M-0.05 and is currently at Zhukovski.

Hi Dougie,
can you send a link for the third Buran without registration, please?

Hi Dennis
In RAF Fleet listings SA330 Pumas are mixed in with Airbus A330's
Ron
Hi Dennis
PH-MPS seen 27-04-16 flying under MPH flight No. So presume is back with Martinair.
Ron
Hi Dennis
For the third Buran, without registration, it looks like that might have been a manual entry, my mistake.
I'm hoping to get to Baikonur in June and there are a few Burans stored there so I may well be back to you to add some more!
Cheers
Hi Ron,
here is PH-MPS: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/PH-MPS/747-412_Martinair%20Holland/845801
The problem with the Airbus and the Puma is that both have A330 in the type. I have changed the Puma with a blank as their official designation is SA 330. Now the list should be fine.
Cheers,
Dennis
Hi Stephen,
information on many of these aircraft are quite rare, so it is rather the actual status than much of a history, but anyway, here we go:
Rest to follow later

Dennis
Hello Dennis
I note that the two 747SPs A40-SO (21785) and A40-SP (21992) seem to be missing from the Oman Royal Flight. Could they be added please.
Regards Steve
Hello!
N803VV (MD82) and N939VV (DC9-32) are shown here as belonging to ValuJet in 1996. Both are pictured in the Sept-Oct 1998 issue of Airliners magazine with AirTran titles. I believe it was the same company, just changed the name following a crash in the Everglades, May 11, 1996.
The Wikipedia article on the crash shows a ValuJet DC9-32 registered as N1266L (seen at FLL in Feb. 1994), showing here as having belonged to Delta. The article says that ValuJet merged with AirTran.
Regards to all.
Hi Steve,
they are in the database, but their regs are A4O-SO and A4O-SP respectively, it is the letter "O" behind the "4" and not the number zero.
A4O-SO: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/A4O-SO/747-SP27_Oman%20Government/526529
A4O-SP: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/A4O-SP/747-SP27_Oman%20Government/526704
Cheers,
Dennis
Hi Homer,
thanks for the update. You were right, N1266L flew with its Delta registration for ValuJet a few months at first including February 1994 when you saw it. I have amended it in the database: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/N1266L/DC-9-32_Valujet%20Airlines/845845
Also N939VV was transferred to AirTran Airways in September 1997 when the database had with the new reg N839AT but that was changed only in January 1999. So amended N939VV as well: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/N939VV/DC-9-32_AirTran%20Airways/845847
No database has N803VV transferred to AirTran Airways though. It was stored in Lake City FL in 1996 and went on to Reno Air in 1998. That is why I kept that aircraft as such.
Cheers,
Dennis

Hi guys,
Saw Avianca N967AV A330 at LHR today. Strangely not on lists?
Cheers
Paul
Hi Paul,
there is no N967AV according to all databases. Avianca had N967CG but this one went on to Thomas Cook as G-TCXC.
Avianca flight into LHR was operated by N973AV.

Dennis

Hi Dennis et al...
BAe146-300 EI-CLG noted here under Aer Lingus Regional is shown with Aer Lingus Commuter titles in a 1996 issue of Airliners magazine.
Hi again...
According to Airliner magazine, mid-1996, N5618 was an American Airlines CV990. I'm guessing it was a CV990-30A-5, a sister ship to N5614 listed here. Photographed at Idlewild in August 1963.

Hi, can you have a look at the few below when you get chance, I have tried to look up the military planes using different ways and pretty sure that they aren't on the data base yet. The c/n's are from my old data may need checking but could point you in the right direction.

SP-KWC AN-26 (1604)
2409 AN26 (27312409)

Thanks as always for supplying a great site for us.

Greetings to all...
In 1975 Bahamasair had a DHC6 Twin Otter, C6-BDA. msn 220 rolled out 18/4/69, delivered 27/10/69 to MAC (Miami Aviation Corp) at Opa-Locka, then 5/11/69 to Out Island Airways as VP-BDA. Out Island Airways merged into Bahamasair in 1973 and registration changed to C6-BDA in the summer of 1975.
After being damaged in ground collisions in Bahamas in 1975 and 1977, the plane was returned to Canada in the summer of 1979. It was stored until 1/4/81 when it was leased out and registered as C-GJLZ. It was in service with various small carriers in western and northern Canada until late 1994, except for the winter of 1991-2 when it was leased to Trans Jamaican Airlines, carrying the same registration number.
The registration was cancelled 24/6/96 as broken up.

Hello again... A Skilton airliner postcard (no 408) shows a "Laker Airways A300 Airbus" with Laker Skytrain livery, reg. no. F-MZFL. Photo supplied by Laker Airways. Without a msn/cn we don't know if this was later G-BIMA/B/C. The registration number may have been temporary on delivery from Airbus Industrie? Homer
Hi
Could you please add to database
N84SV DF2000 c/n 291, VP-CLK G550 c/n 5511, VT-IBG GLOBAL 5000 c/n 9658, T7-BCH CL605 c/n 5822.
Many thanks Gary B
I have a photo, clipped from an aviation magazine, showing NFD Luftverkehrs AG (aka Nürnberger Flugdienst) ATR42-300 with reg. no. F-WWEO, which I'm guessing was the temporary number assigned to one of the 16 listed here as operated by NFD at one time or another. No msn/cn so I can't be sure which it was. Homer
Hi again...
Shorts 360 VH-MVW was operated for a time by Sunstate Airlines, as shown here. Sunstate acquired the plane when it took over Murray Valley Airlines, based in Mildura, in mid-1986. Photos exist of VH-MVW and its sister ship VH-MVX in full MVA colours and an "InterCity" title.

Hi Dennis

If so let us know what's coming up.

Greetings, everybody...
PK-MNC, of Merpati Nusantara, is shown here as a "Nurtanio CN-235-10". Wikipedia says "The CASA/IPTN CN-235 is a medium-range twin-engined transport plane that was jointly developed by CASA of Spain and IPTN of Indonesia as a regional airliner and military transport."
IPTN was the abbreviation for the Indonesian Aircraft Industry, which at one time was named the Nurtanio Aircraft Industry after one of the pioneers of Indonesian aviation. His name was removed from IPTN (according to the Wiki) due to some highly questionable accusations, including a personal use of company's letterhead by Nurtanio's family to appropriate some IPTN stocks. None was proven true.
Homer
Here again...
G-REGB is a Jetstream 31 which is shown here as at one time operated by "Region Airways". That may be the proper name of the airline, but the titles on the plane in the summer of 1989 read "Regionair". Seen at CDG per a photo in a German aviation magazine.
Homer
Greetings...
Philippine Airlines (PAL) seems to have bad luck with HS-748s, having written off several. Please add to your list RP-C1024, HS-748-2/209 seen at Cebu in a 1987 photo. Don't have the msn/ln so can't say what became of this one.
I have seen this photo captioned on other sites as both a Series 2/208 and 2/209, and the airport identified as CEB and MNL! The mystery deepens!
Homer
More greetings...
HL7471, listed here as a B747-273C, is shown on a Michel Moskal postcard (103) with "Saudi Cargo" titles, identified as a B747-2B5F

Hi Dennis et al. D-BOBY, Fokker F27-100, was shown in a German aviation magazine in red and white SAT livery, photograph dated 28/12/78. Homer
Hello! "Syrian Arab Airlines" called itself "Syrianair" in the early 1980s. I have a magazine photo of YK-AIB, identified as a Tu-154B3 (not Tu-154M as here) and a Jetstream postcard of YK-AYA, said to be a Tu-154B2. Homer
Hi again...
A320-111 (sn 2) is listed here as F-WWDA registered to Airbus Industrie, then to Air France. I have an undated photo, clipped from a magazine c. 1989, of an A320 bearing the same reg. no. - F-WWDA - but can't tell if it's this one (2) or another one (6) registered to Briti9sh Caledonian as G-BUSB.

Hi Dennis,
Please add to the British Airways list G-AYOM, a Sikorsky S-61N helicopter. Don't have sn/ln but there are a couple of images accessible through Google.

Here's no. 100!
Air UK had a Fokker Fellowship F28-1000 painted in Air Anglia colours with reg. no. PH-MOL according to http://www.airukreunion.co.uk/early-colour-hybrid-schemes-rare-class-b-registered-146/ph-mol_gla_15_may_1985_derek_ferguson/ No mention here of msn/ln.
