Hi All,

Just tried to look up several old registrations and getting a server error. Here is an example:

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /Aircraft/G-AVMH /British European Airways_BAC 1-11-510ED/814680

Hi Mike,

There seems to be a space on the end of the registration of that one. I've updated it, and it now works fine:

https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/G-AVMH/BAC%201-11-510ED_European%20Aircharter/752717

Is this happening on a few records?

Hi Nighthawk,

British European Airways fleet Viscounts and vanguards and 1-11 all have this problem.

Hi Gavin,

VT-ALR also needs to be looked at. I get a server error here, too.

Cheers,

Dennis

Hi Dennis and Mike,

If you delete the %20 after the registration you should be able to view the page.

I have fixed VT-ALR for you Dennis. https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/VT-ALR/777-337(ER)_Air%20India/537922

Hi Mike,

I have just had a look at them, they have a different error, so Nighthawk will have to have a look at that one.

Thanks guys, 3,000 records updated to remove the space from the end of the name. I've also fixed the issue with the BEA Viscount / Vanguard fleets.

Any further issues, let me know :)

Hi Ron,

Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately I won't be able to take a look until tonight, but I'll correct it then.

Ron,

Can you give it a try and let me know if it is working now?

Thanks :)

Hi Nighthawk

I tried to put in G-AOHR Viscount under BEA and it came back - document not found on this

server.

I tried to update various sightings and it gave me a run time error everytime.

I tried to enter G-AOHR manually- but it came back "sighting could not be found"

Hi chaps,

I like to edit my sightings by removing the type of an aircraft so my listings are easier on the eye. Now every time I try to edit my sighting I get a runtime error screen.

Is there a way around this

Paul

Sorry Paul, it doesn't look like there's a way around it.

I'll make a quick update tonight to fix the issue.

Hi Stephen,

thanks for this. The problem here is the dot at the end of the airline name. Changed this and it should be accessible now: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/XA-DLA/Challenger%20300_Apoyo%20Logistico%20Aereo%20SA/546392

Hi Nighthawk

N332CC B737-86N cannot access-- Runtime error

Ron

Posted by DT on 03 May 2016 - 07:16:51

Hi Ron,

the error was caused by a "&" in the name of the leasing corporation set it at first. This was changed now, aircraft is accessible: https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/N332CC/737-86N_Apollo%20Aviation%20Group/844530

Well spotted Dennis.

I made an update to change the address of pages to make them rank better on search engines. This involved putting the operator name in the address. Unfortunately this has caused a few problems, due to the names containing characters that don't work in addresses.

I'll be updating shortly to remove the names from the addresses again, to stop these errors.

Hi there

I have put in N240LG and EI-FJC this morning and both showed run time errors and

could not go any further. Yet both have been copied to My Sightings.

It seems that everything I put in displays Run time error, yet is copied.

Yea, we seem to be getting a few errors this morning. I did a small update last night, which I've now removed.

Are you still getting errors?

Seems OK now.

Those runtime errors are back now. Every time I try to click "Add sighting" I get that runtime error screen. This started about 30 minutes ago.
