Hi Jeff,

we do not link those photos ourself. It is connected to Flickr if there is no user photo uploaded to a plane but the crosslink always connects to the registration. In this case it just pulled up another plane that wore that registration before (you see that same photo of the correct aircraft comes up if you open the database entry to the 757 that had the registration before).

So if someone puts up a new photo of that aircraft registration up on Flickr or loads it up to the database here it´ll disappear.

Hi Dennis, in regards to the N579N, the FAA has the number attached to the Socata as of October 2015... http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=N579N

While the 579NC is also a Socata, I believe that this one is actually a TBM-900.

These little guys can be elusive! :)

Your update for N313RX links to N397MT (from my updates on 4 November), which is apparently the same aircraft, so the new reg. # needs to go into the database. It appears you just forgot that part.

Santa Ana winds in the forecast here, which are strong winds that blow from the mountains down over the desert to the California coast and cause all sorts of hot, dry and windy havoc for us. This makes for strange sighting more often than not. Today was no exception.
