Local Airport: CMB

Saw this old thread and thought I would revive it!

I am currently based at CMB, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The main aircraft we see here are:

  • A320/321 of Sri Lankan, Etihad, Indigo, Air India, Air Arabia
  • A330 of Sri Lankan, Qatar, Cathay, Kuwait, Korean, China Southern, China Eastern, Turkish, Air China, Thai, Singapore
  • B737 of Jet Airways, flyDubai, Malindo, Oman, Malaysian.
  • B777 of Qatar, Emirates, Saudia
  • Cessna 208B of Cinnamon Air

We also get a daily DH8 of Spicejet and an A350 from Qatar. Seasonally we see KLM A330, an Austrian 777 and an Air Ukraine 737. Aeroflot will be recommencing flights at the end of October.

Actually my nearest "airport" is Colombo City Waters Edge, a small lake in eastern Colombo where a daily Cinnamon Air 208B seaplane stops en route to the main airport.
