Interot Air Service/ Augsburg Airways

Thursday 31October marks the end of former Lufthansa Regional Partner/Interot/Augsburg Air. While I have sadly not had the chance to fly with them, I wish the staff the best of luck. It is sad to see some of these regional airlines go under and fold shop as many communities have grown around them, and the staff being part of the communities that they serve.

It's not been a good day for European regional carriers - FlyNonStop also filed for bankruptcy today after just 7 months of operations. The airline flew from Kristiansand to London City, and had one of the nicest liveries around:
