Comments	w/o 02.4.1997 went missing on a training flight with two other A-10s from Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, over the Arizona desert. The a/c broke formation, headed north and turned off its transponder. It crashed about 15mi (24 km) SW of Vail, on Gold Dust Peak in a remote park of Eagle County, CO, some 800 miles off-course! (with 357 FS/355 FW);
